Netflix will release a slew of new films in the summer of 2021. The streaming service had promised a new movie every week, and they have committed to keep that promise this season.

Vivo is one of Netflix’s five animated films set to debut this summer. Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of Hamilton, contributes new music to the Sony Pictures Animation film.

The plot of this Netflix sci-fi film is pretty intriguing. All technology and humans’ ability to sleep are destroyed by a global disaster. A soldier with a tumultuous background realises that her daughter could be the key to solving the mystery. Will she save or sacrifice her family in order to save the world?

3: Skater Girl:

Meet Prerna, an Indian skateboarder who hails from a little village in the countryside. She makes it to the national championship with her skills and hard work, and this is the narrative of how she got there.

This is a wonderful and inspiring storey starring Kevin Hart, Alfre Woodard, Lil Rel Howery, DeWanda Wise, Anthony Carrigan, Melody Hurd, and Paul Reiser. Watch as Hart takes on the most difficult job in the world: parenting, and see how he does it.

5: Good on Paper:
