ISRO announces completion of development of SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar). The SAR is efficient of producing extremely high resolution images for joint earth observation satellite mission. This mission is in collaboration with US space agency National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

As per NASA, “NISAR” is the first satellite mission to use two different radar frequencies. To measure the changes in our planets less than a centimeter across L-Band and S-Band will be used.
NASA and Bengaluru-headquarters ISRO signs a partnership on September 30,2014 to partner on a launch NISAR. ISRO Says “NISAR would provide a means of disentangling highly spatial and temporally complex processes ranging from ecosystem disturbances to ice sheet collapses and natural hazards including earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes, and landslides.”
