Last offseason, Dennis Schröder joined the Los Angeles Lakers in the hopes of becoming the team’s third-best player behind LeBron James and Antony Davis.

After failing to reach an agreement on a new contract, Schröder is expected to become a free agent at the end of the season.
After finishing second in the Sixth Man of the Year award behind his current teammate Montrelz Harrell last season, Schröder was promoted to a starting spot in the Lakers’ uniform this season.

This season, the 27-year-old guard scored 15.4 points, 5.8 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game, shooting 43.7 percent from the field and 33.5 percent from three-point range.
