The Los Angeles Lakers just can’t seem to find their stride. This is largely attributed to the defending champion’s star players, LeBron James and Anthony Davis, suffering a slew of injuries.

Davis was the highlight Thursday night against the Los Angeles Clippers, with James out at least until next week due to an ankle sprain. Unfortunately, AD had to leave the game after nine minutes due to an ankle injury.

The severity of the injury has yet to be determined. However, this isn’t a good indication. Before suffering the injury, Davis was 2-of-9 from the field. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers were down 23 points at halftime, their biggest halftime deficit in a game in the past two seasons.
