The Blues won the Champions League, but some of their players may not be reporting for pre-season training in west London next month.
So, who might be exiting the building this summer?
01. Olivier Giroud:
The veteran French striker’s contract expires this summer, and it has been speculated for some time that he may seek a new club.
West Ham United and AC Milan are both said to be interested. If Giroud leaves, he will do so as a Champions League winner with nothing but gratitude for his three years in west London.
02: Tammy Abraham:
Under Thomas Tuchel, the striker only had five appearances, two of which he was taken out at halftime and struggled for minutes due to an ankle ailment.
After joining Chelsea from Roma in 2018, the Italian defender only played 15 times last season and has never established himself as a regular left back.
04: Willy Caballero:
Chelsea’s third-choice goalkeeper was included in the team for the final at the Estadio do Dragao, but he faces competition from Kepa and Edouard Mendy, and he is also out of contract this summer.
