Barcelona is apparently interested in signing Tomas Vaclik, a 32-year-old Czech free agent, on a Bosman transfer this summer.
Barcelona’s hunt for a goalkeeper in the summer transfer window has led them to the free agent market, according to a report by Spanish website Fichajes. Tomas Vaclik, who has been linked with a move to Bosman, is the latest talent to get the attention of the Catalan giants.
Tomas Vaclik, who joined Sevilla from FC Basel in the summer of 2018, is nearing the end of his three-year stay with the Andalusian club. The 32-year-old soon-to-be free agent is coming off of a forgettable 2020/21 campaign, whereby he was replaced by Bono in the pecking order for goalkeepers
Apart from Vaclik, the source states that Pau Lopez is also being courted by Barcelona for a summer transfer.
What remains to be seen is if Barcelona will go all out for Vaclik or whether they will shift their focus to someone else. The Catalan giants’ options appear to be increasing.
