Barcelona are apparently interested in signing Yuri Alberto, a 20-year-old Brazilian attacker, this summer.
According to Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte, Barcelona is interested in signing Yuri Alberto during the summer transfer window. The Catalan giants are keeping a close eye on the 20-year-old Brazilian forward and could approach Internacional with an offer soon.
Yuri Alberto worked his way up the ranks at Santos before breaking into the first team in 2017. He was only 16 years old at the time. Following that, the brilliant forward spent three years at the Urbano Caldeira Stadium before making the controversial move to Internacional last summer.
Even though the 20-year-old has not been very prolific in front of goal, the move has paid off relatively well. Alberto has scored 17 goals and added two assists in 49 games across all competitions. The player’s success at Porto Alegre has piqued the interest of one of the world’s finest clubs, with Barcelona eyeing him.
