Barcelona is reportedly considering triggering Bryan Gil’s €35 million release clause in order to recruit him from Sevilla this summer.
Barcelona appears to be ratcheting up their efforts to capture Bryan Gil in the summer transfer window, according to a report from Spanish website Fichajes. The Catalan giants are considering a move for the 20-year-old Spanish international, whose Sevilla contract has a €35 million release clause.
Bryan Gil is currently regarded as one of Spain’s most promising young players, and his stock has risen even further following an outstanding period at SD Eibar. Despite the fact that the Basque club has been demoted to the second level, the 20-year-old, who is on loan from Sevilla for the 2020/21 season, was a rare bright spot.
Gil finished with four goals and as many assists in 30 games across all competitions. And, though statistics may not reflect his improvement, he has created enough of an impact to entice some of the world’s most prestigious clubs, like Barcelona.
