Barcelona are reportedly hoping to re-sign Manchester City full-back Adrian Bernabe this summer, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Catalans have expressed their desire to bring him back to the Nou Camp when his contract with Man City expires at the conclusion of this season (via Mundo Deportivo).
Bernabe has done well since joining Pep Guardiola’s team from Barcelona in the summer of 2018, proving his worth at the junior level and earning five senior outings at the Etihad Stadium. However, he has yet to make his Premier League debut.
So far, the 19-year-old has participated in 54 games for Man City’s Under-23 team, scoring 11 goals and assisting 16 times in various competitions. Bernabe has already shown a lot of promise at such a young age and is developing into a fantastic talent.
The precocious youth is primarily a left-back, although he can also play as a left-sided winger or as an attacking midfielder in the number 10 position if necessary. As a result, Barca manager Ronald Koeman would be wise to arrange for him to return to the Nou Camp, as he has the potential to become a success storey in Spanish football.
