Following Turkey’s inclusion on the UK’s “red list,” Porto was selected to replace Istanbul due to insurmountable travel difficulties for English fans.

Following a request from the Portuguese FA (FPF) and the Portuguese authorities, the UEFA Champions League final between Manchester City FC and Chelsea FC will be held at the Estádio do Drago in Porto on May 29, 2021, with a kick-off time of 2100 CEST.

In collaboration with the Portuguese authorities and the FPF, the stadium capacity for the match will be finalised and confirmed in due time. Fans of the opposing teams, on the other hand, will be able to purchase tickets directly from the clubs, with the 6,000 tickets per club going on sale as soon as possible starting today. The general public will be able to purchase tickets beginning May 24. at 1400 CEST.

The number of fans from each team who will be able to attend will be the same as those who were able to attend in Istanbul.
