Sergio Ramos, the former Real Madrid captain, has allegedly agreed to a two-year contract with Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain.
The rumour that PSG approached Ramos in January is true, according to Italian transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.
They allegedly reconnected in April and agreed to a two-year contract.
It’s worth recalling that the duration of Ramos’ contract was the major bone of disagreement between him and Real Madrid, with the Spanish giants only ready to offer him a one-year extension.
Ramos was widely expected to sign a contract extension with Real Madrid, so his departure was a huge shock when it was announced on June 17, two weeks before his contract was set to expire.
