Trent Alexander-Arnold is fast becoming a must-have, while Chelsea and Manchester United both deliver intriguing differential choices in Game week 33 of the Fantasy Premier League.
Liverpool’s 1-1 draw against Leeds United on Monday night, which was largely overshadowed by the European Super League’s storm, was a disappointing one for both the club’s search of a top-four finish and for Fantasy Premier League players.
FPL points proved incredibly difficult to come by with Mohamed Salah rested from the start and only appearing for the final 20 minutes, Diogo Jota not providing an attacking return, and the clean sheet sadly wiped out by Diego Llorente’s 87th minute equaliser.
That is, unless you’re a Trent Alexander-Arnold owner. He earned double bonus points and an eight-point return for assisting Sadio Mané’s first-half goal, giving him a total of 40 points in the last four game weeks.
Over the last six games, he has generated 16 opportunities, which is at least three more than any other defender in the league, and he seems to be back to his best as we reach the end of the season.
